Students will learn basic chords, strumming patterns, finger-picking, and explore basic music theory concepts while playing a repertoire from oldies, oldies, classic rock, and pop songs. There are options for a recital performance or an opportunity to participate in the Stillwater Music Adult Showcases. To prepare, students must have a ukulele, read a chord chart, tune the ukulele, and have basic down-strum skills at a minimum. Signing up for a series of private lessons is highly recommended if the student is an absolute beginner.
